Cycle rickshaws - easily available for short distances

Delhi Metro-Two stations on the left and right sides of the main gate.

• On the left is the Civil Lines station
• On the right is the Kashmiri Gate station

• Kashmiri Gate is the main Metro Junction with lines going south to Connaught Place (Rajiv Chowk) and North to Delhi University

• East - West lines go across the Jamuna River

Important : Take the SHAMNATH MARG EXIT and turn left, again left, to conveniently reach the Oberoi Apartments.

Low Floor Air-conditioned Buses (Red Colour) to and from the ISBT (Inter State Bus Terminal) - cross town

Inter-state bus terminal (ISBT) walking distance. Catch any bus to North Indian states. Overnite airconditioned Volvos go up to Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala/McLeodganj (the home of the Dalai Lama) leaving at 8 p.m. and arriving at their destinations at 8 a.m. next morning.
